Charles "Tyler" Hurst, 38, of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born on October 9, 1985, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, to Charles and Tamara (Wolf) Hurst. He passed away on June 2, 2024, in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Tyler was a family man and found joy in spending time with his wife, children, and family.

You could always find him with a beer in his hand working on something. He took pride in his home, yard and loved working in his garden.

Tyler was a handyman and could fix about anything. He was selfless, caring, always had the biggest smile and always trying to crack a joke. He will be missed dearly.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Tamara Hurst; his maternal grandparents Aubrey and Faye Wolf; and paternal grandmother Cheryl Shuffield. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Poe; his six children, Kaleb, Kara, Jadyn, Aliyah, Clayton, and Charlotte; his father Chuck Hurst and wife Lovetta; his grandparents Ron Hurst and Marsha; his siblings, Tisha Hurst, Kyle Hurst, Chelsea Hurst, and Matthew Hurst; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark LeMarr officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Crescent.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
