Virginia Darlene Eppler was born on November 11, 1949 in Durant, Oklahoma to Wilson Jones II and Virginia (Lightfoot) Jones. She passed away on October 24, 2023 in Guthrie.

Virginia had been living in Guthrie for one year, but she called Ringling her home. She received her Master of Art degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and worked as an art teacher most of her life. She retired from Water Garden Express in Comanche, Oklahoma where she worked as their office manager. She was a devout Christian and a proud member of the Oklahoma Choctaw Nation.

Survivors include her son Nathan Eppler, sister Lisle Holman, seven nieces, and grandson Orion Caspian Eppler. She was preceded in death by her father Wilson Jones II and her brother Wilson Jones III.
